They make work that uses a framework of myth and ritual to explore how we live now.

Alex is the Director for Modern Ritual. She is particularly interested in developing new writing, researching local stories within communities and technological advancements within theatre.She is currently the Deputy Theatre Manager at Squire Performing Arts Centre, and trained at the University of Warwick and Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Jack is the writer for Modern Ritual. He is excited by work that is playful, thrilling and strange. He has been a Bristol Old Vic Open Session writer and part of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme.
He is also co-founder of Two Headed Alien, a games studio focused on narrative innovation, and writer of The Flock audio drama, which was nominated for a British Podcast Award.
